If I had NO ties... I would move to CA

When DS graduates high school we are either going to SC or FL as snowbirds (at least that's my plan)

Funny how lots of posters said San Diego. I personally would not move anywhere Chat Icon

Re: If you could move

San Francisco or London

If I could just up and move.

Which is exactly what I did when I moved to NY. I don't regret it but now I've done it so if I had the chance again I'd pass on NY and take up San Fran. I had a choice then too, but San Fran had a guy I was trying to avoid so NY being on the opposite coast won out with a gusto!

Now I'm older and with a kid ... so San Fran or London! for sure!

Southern California. I'd go in a heartbeat if I could. It's the only place I'd leave my life here for.

LOL Makes me giggle because when I started to seriously date my hubby I told him.. "If this ever goes somewhere more long term, you need to know I will move back to Texas. Maybe not now, not in a year or 10yrs but I *WILL* go back. If you can't see yourself moving from family, I'm not the girl for you."

It moved quick when it happened. I had 30days to move to TX from Long Island at it was less than 30days before that for the whole process. He was shocked how fast it went once I said "Im taking this seriously" LOL but I got a great guy. He left everything and everyone. Moved to a state with no family, no job, no close friends and barely knows the area. Chat Icon Love my hubby.

Tho to be fair he is loving the no shoveling or ice scraping part of Texas a lot.

My family and i always wanted to move to NH. We did it 6 months ago and were sooooo happy

That's my dream state...I've vacationed in the area near North Conway my whole life & still do... Applied for a job there & ended up taking one in Northen VA instead. Hate Northern VA in many aspects...haha . I might as well live in NY with the cost of living and people suck at driving here & there's always traffic. I moved from Hampton Bays and miss the beaches big time. Can't wait to get out of here & head to the mountains & clean air someday!!! Western and southern VA are nicer but doesn't work for our jobs :(

If you could move

Nowhere. I am in FL, and just went to long island this weekend to visit. I couldn't wait to get back 'home' to FL. Love it here.

We tried moving to FL. Moved back after a year and a half. We love LI. Just wish the cost of living was cheaper.

My dream is to live in Hawaii! That's never happening. If I could bring my parents w/ me, I'd move to Texas.
