Re: If you could relive one day... a non-stimulating post...

I know exactly what I would do, though I imagine that most here wouldn't get it.

It's something I may never get to do again - a very high level cross country course (horseback riding related). I haven't jumped that high in about 6 years and won't be back at that level in years (if ever). It was the last high-level course I rode before I broke my back and it was darn near flawless. After recovering from my back, I went to law school, and stopped training at those levels...

Flying over those huge jumps at a big, forward gallop, completely in harmony with one of the most talented horses I've ever ridden is probably the coolest feeling in the world. We hit every spot, we made every distance, and we were under the ideal time. Best 10 minutes of my life. I'd LOVE to do it again. (One day, I'm sure I will!)

I realize most here don't understand... and I'm not explaining it too well -- but I re-ride that course in my daydreams all the time. Keeps me motivated and dedicated to my passion! :D

I'd fix a bad decision. Not so much a life changing decision, but I got very evil once during a fight with a friend & our relationship has not been the same since.Chat Icon

i would go back in time to any day in 1999 or 2000 when both of my grandparents were still alive. i would spend every minute with them and just enjoy it.

even though i spent almost every day with them anyway, i miss them terribly and would love to see them again.

I would relive a Happy Day.

I would not fix a bad decision. The decisions of my past have shaped my life as of today. I would not have DH and DS if I changed anything that happened in the past.

I would relieve a happy day, i wouldn't change anything in my life because everything has been predetermined and if i went to change the past, my present would probably be not the same.

Re: If you could relive one day... a non-stimulating post...

I'd relive happy days if I had the chance.

Which would either be my wedding day, or more importantly- the last time I spoke to my dad before he died. I wouldn't choose the day he died b/c I think somehow it would've been worse for me to be at the hospital when he passed, and I don't think I could have handled really saying "goodbye" and knowing I'd be saying it for the last time. Oh god!! it's been over 10 years and just typing this is making me cry!! well at least thinking of our last convo puts a smile on my face, I'm grateful it was a lighthearted conversation so I can remember laughing with him.
