How much did everyone spend on DC's Christmas/Holiday pictures and what type of package did you get?

I just got back from having DS's done. I have been going to this place for the last two years and DH says I am crazy for paying so much. I didn't think it was that unreasonable, and would like to see what the average is.

I spent $24. I had coupons for no sitting fee, free 8x10 and $3.99 per sheet

We went to KK and spent a little over $160, we got the ultimate package.

I didn't do a portrait studio -- Sent a downloaded pic to a website and got 25 picture cards for $69 (incl. return address on envelopes)

Once I get the picture downloaded to winkflash and decide on a card...with their coupon, 100 cards with envelopes ends up being $23!!!!

I went to Picture people. I am a member of the portrait club, so i got 1 free sheet, $10 off, plus i had a coupon for 20% off and 1 free sheet.

I wound up paying 40 bucks for 1 full pose (1 8x10, 2 5x7's, 8 wallets), and 4 8x10s.

I scanned them all in when i got home and paid 27 bucks for pictures for my christmas cards, and 31 bucks for portraits to give away to the family for the holidays.

I swore I wouldn't do it again this year, but I spent $150 at Kiddie Kandids, but I just love their pictures.

1 sheet of wallets

48 cards and envelopes

I took my own picture, bought 'slip in' photo cards at Target for $12... so with printing costs, probably about $15.
We're frugal this year .

I am an idiot. We went to Sears, spent $250....

got 12 portrait sheets
2 "collage" type sheets
60 photo cards
portrait CD

and they freakin printed TOO dark! They are reprinting them and they BETTER come out right.

I spent nothing for the photos...

and $12 for 50 greeting cards...

And to be honest I like them far better than ANY photo place I have ever been too!

We spent about $24. I'm also a member of the portrait club at Picture People so I had a coupon for a free 8X10 and $10 off a sheet and 15% off additional sheets. So that was for holiday pictures, but if you mean cards as well, I used a barb photo and ordered 164 cards from Winkflash and they were I think .23 a card. It's funny I didn't go crazy moneywise on holiday pics but I think that's only b/c I've taking pictures of her like mad since she's been born so my parents and grandmother have been getting a prof pic of her like every month now.

I took mine to Wal-Mart with a pic of the boys I took, and orderd 70 cards and it cost me $32

We spend about $50 at JCPenny for her 2nd birthday and christmas pictures. Plus another $30 on shutterfly for cards

we took our own pictures, designed our own card, and had them printed for $.49 each. I think we ordered 80 cards, so ~$40.

We took our own digital pics and then made up cards on kodakgallery... spent 50 bucks for 60 cards.

I am also bringing her to JCPenney on Sat for portraits....have a coupon, hope its cheap!
