I find their clothing to run small actually. The PJ's seem true to size though. At least for us.

I find they run small but there pants tend to be very long. I usually buy DD (who is 4.5) a sise 5-6 pant w/ a size 10-12 top. Try everything on there since sizing is crazy.

I think they are very inconsistent. DD is 7 months and wears their 12 month pjs (she is very long though). I just bought 12-18month pants and they were huge, but the size smaller were really small. There was a huge jump. The salesperson said many people complain and they have told corporate but nothing is done.

I think that compared to other stores, like Gymboree, there sizes actually run pretty accurately.

I feel like they run small and shrink a lot when you wash them. Even so, I always buy them because the waist fits my very thin DD, and just buy a size up in case the length shrinks. The arms are always short on her!

Re: If you find Childrens Place clothing to run big...
That's funny that everyone finds them to run small. There shirts seems to run true to size, but I find that their pants are really long. In other companies, my son is 18-24 months. There, sometimes the 12 months are long on him!

Actually I think that's the problem...they shrink horribly. Even my sons jeans from there shrink up in length a whole size. I find their clothes cute, but the quality is not good.

Re: If you find Childrens Place clothing to run big...
Their pants are long--DS is wearing 18 months in a lot of their clothes (he's 10 months), but the pants he can wear 12 months or even 9 months (though those are getting a little short and snug).
Other than that, I would say their clothes are a bit small, their pjs even more so than the other clothes IMO.

Re: If you find Childrens Place clothing to run big...
I just shopped in the outlet one the other day for the first time & for my DD, everything is bigger. She wears 18M for most things & there, according to their size guide, 24M is like up to 29lbs, I think. She weighs about 30 or 31lbs, but I got the 24M anyway & they are way too big for her!
