If you get waxed (Brazilian specifically)
Do you use hot or cold wax? Did you switch from hot to cold for a reason? I've been waxing for years but have only used hot wax. I'm thinking I should switch to cold because my skin is really sensitive and is tender for a few days following the wax.

She uses hot wax but it's isn't scolding maybe warm. I didn't even know cold was an option, always assumed it had to be hot. I'm usually just sore the day I get it waxed, maybe alittle the next day but never after that.
I think you have to he careful because if they use to hot of a wax it can burn your skin. The lady at the nail place was doing that to my armpits and I get it done by my wax lady or threading lady.

I go to someone who uses hot wax, but it's not regular hot wax. It doesn't use strips to pull off and it's imported from France. It's so much better than regular hot wax...it truly doesn't hurt when it's pulled off.

Doesn't hurt being pulled off. I need to know where you go.

Hot wax that feels more warm than hot. I never experienced the cold.

I have never heard of cold wax. Do they use strips where you go? If so try going to a European Wax Center. The wax they use makes a big difference.
Also, make sure you exfoliate regularly. It will help with irritation and in-grown hair.

I go to the Waldorf Astoria in the city to get it done because my cousin works in their salon. They use hot wax but they don't use strips to get it off. I know some people have said it doesn't hurt - maybe I'm sensitive but there is NO part of waxing that doesn't make me want to punch that woman in the face while it's happening. I've gotten waxed at two other places before the Waldorf with strips and that was even worse. I've never used cold wax.
