If you give your child a veggie or fruit and they don't like it

do you continue to give it to them. I gave Luka sweat peas for the first time today and I wish he had a camera because every other bite he made a face. It was so funny. He still ate all his cereal (I mix it together because he gags on cereal alone) but he didn't enjoy it.

yes, because I heard it can take up to three tries for a baby to like, after that I'm done!

You could also try mixing it with a vegetable he does like. ie. Carrots This is what I do since DS doesn't enjoy the "green" vegetables!

Peyton literally shuts her mouth and will NOT open it if she doesn't like it. I've given up on greens.

You could also mix it with some pears, a little sweetning up always helps!!

I try a few times or mix it like others said, she just will not tolerate green beans...squash she will eat mixed with sweet potatoes...

Yes

Sometimes it takes a couple of tries for them to like something. At least in Sofia's case it is true. If after a couple of times i will skip feeding her that for a little bit and then gradually start again.

I read it can take up to TWELVE times for a baby to aquire a taste for a food!
