I would go to the gym, go to a park or beach and read a book or just veg and watch a movie. If I had money, I'd do mani/pedi's.

I usually get a mani pedi
run errands
straighten up the house
grocery shop
you could:
go to the beach and bring a book
meet a friend for brunch

I would either-
Get a pedicure because as of right now I am in pathetically desperate need of one.
Lounge at the beach without having to worry about entertaining DD, making sure she's not crawling away or being scooped up by a stranger, making sure she's eating enough & not getting burned, etc. Maybe read a magazine or a book.
Take a nap.
Go to the bookstore & browse.

I would get a mani\pedi, or a massage (there is a place on 110 not too far from his school), a foot massage, sit in starbucks with coffee and the paper...

This happened last week, for the first time in ages. I didn't even want to go "out", I just wanted to relax at home. I made a pot of coffee in my french press, and played chess online for two hours (I know that sounds like the dullest two hours in the world, but it's something I really enjoyed pre-kids, and never do anymore, and I'm basically a pretty dull person, lol)

If it was a HOT day, I'd get a spa pedi and relax- probably read a magazine.
If it was a nice day out with a really nice breeze, I would only get a regular pedi, grab a refreshing drink and head to a nice park. I'd be relaxing on the bench, reading a book or mag and sipping on something delish. Then I'd see little kids with their moms and I'd smile knowing that very soon I'll be doing that too- but for now it's MY TIME!
