If you had a boy/girl did you get morning sickness?
So many people have been saying im having a girl because i have not gotten morning sickness. We arent finding out what the baby is. just was curious to see if this "myth" might be true.

I picked other. Boy and no real morning sickness. Some nausea really late in my first trimester/early second, but no actual sickness.

Diagnosed with hyperemesis. EXTREME form of morning sickness. Lost 14 lbs my first trimester still down 11 at 23 W although I rarely vomit anymore.
I dont really think that gender has any correlation with MS. I think it has to do more with how each woman reacts to hormones changes anda whole slew of other things!

I had a  and terrible m/s. Doctor had to give me a prescription for the m/s

DS #1 - no morning sickness save a few days of nausea on the subway
DS #2 - m/s until 16 weeks +
2 boys, 2 different stories

1st child - DD bad morning sickness up until 16 weeks
this pregnancy- little morning sickness pretty much btwn 9-11 weeks. -- dont know gender.

I chose other because I am having a boy and a girl and had no m/s. I had some nausea and loss of appetite in the 1st tri but never got sick.

i have both a dd and a ds and i had the same exact morning sickness (or should i say all day sickness) with both of them.

Same here. I was frequently queasy, but if I ate small (carb-based) meals throughout the day (like every 2-3 hours) I was fine.

i had NO morning sickness with my three boys
i have had very bad all day nausea with occasional with this one... i don't know the sex yet

I've actually always heard the opposite wives tale- that girls cause more morning sickness than boys. Anyway, I'm having a and had terrible morning sickness.

i had morning sickness with my son and this pregnancy, which is a girl. i think it was a bit worse with her and lasted longer.

No m/s, had a girl
There is no truth to any of those myths  I had every sign of a boy. Some family members were not convinced it was girl til she was born.

I'm having a and have had awful morning sickness. At 32 weeks, I'm still on 1/2 a pill of Zofran a day because every time I try to stop taking it, I wind up hurling
I honestly think it has more to do with how well you tolerate nausea. M/s is par for the course for me, because I have an EXTREMELY weak stomach, and once I get nauseous, there's zero percent chance that I WON'T get sick to my stomach.

I am having a boy and no morning sickness
my friend recently had a girl and was very sick
my other friend recently had a girl and had no m/s
i think it depends on the hormones in your body and how they react, not whether you are having a boy or girl.

You are lucky! I had hyperemesis too and I threw up in the delivery room, a lot!!! And I only gained 3lbs while I was pregnant.
Oh and I had a so that theory was no good here.
