The inside was a layer of white sponge, cannoli cream, and a layer of chocolate sponge.

It was provided by the catering hall, but I think they may use Benkerds (sp)

Sweet Karma in East Meadow has pics on their webiste. They furnish cakes for a lot of country clubs etc and we love them!
We did a dress shape and it was so pretty and tasty too

We used St Honore Pastry shop in Port Washington - they do cakes for a lot of the
The lighting wasn't the best - (it was the same room for both parties) the cake was white though)

i'm not sure what area you are in but my FAVORITE bakery is in Rockville Centre...Front Street Bakery. The most delicious cakes. I bring them in to work and people just flip over them.

Not a cross but I've seen this in person and it's GORGEOUS...my friend used it for her daughter's christening cake...

we just had them put a cross on the bj's cake ($18 cake) and had them put blue roses in a cross on the dortoni's napoleon cake( $21)
