If you had a golf lesson today, would you cancel? UPDATED
Its at the range so I'd be under the overhang, but the thought of holding a metal golf club in this weather with my luck has me a bit concerned...
Well, the pro just called me and canceled 
He said the rain in blowing right in and we would get soaked

If this were my DH speaking there is never any excuse to not play golf, of course lightning is an exception... but this is me and it's crappy out, cancel!

Unless there is lightning, no I wouldn't cancel. You said you'd be under the overhang, so I wouldn't cancel on the instructor same day unless there is going to be lightning (in which case your instructor would have to cancel anyway.)

I'd go, but I really like to golf so I could be in the minority here.
Most of the driving ranges that I've been to have heaters and honestly, once you start swinging the club, you'll warm up.
Also, do you wear a glove during the lesson? If you do, it will help you grip the club so you won't have to worry about it slipping in your grip. Plus it will keep your hand warm.

Oh yeah, the night after my first lesson
I have no poker face and he knew something was up so he questioned me until I broke which didn't take much anyway
he is very impressed and so excited 
I'm hitting about 100yds with a 6 iron after 2 lessons so I am thrilled!!

That's great, 100 yards with a 6 iron is really good!!
