If you had a miscarriage at 6 weeks..

How long before you stopped bleeding and cramping?

Just wondering. I think the baby stopped growing at 4.5 weeks, but I just started really bleeding yesterday. And today there isn't a lot at all, its actually lighter than a period. The doctor said it may not turn into much more or it could pick up..its different for everyone.

also...what has your doctor told you about trying again? Mine said to wait one cycle and then try. I guess because I had a very early miscarriage, no d&c needed..my uterus was empty as of the scan today and my levels were down from 700 on saturday to 300 today..

i have been bleeding and cramping since saturday, was 6 weeks sunday. i was told one cycle, but was also told to see a RE and have a HSG. hope you feel better soon! xoxo

If you had a miscarriage at 6 weeks..

Mine turned into a normal like period after 2 days of heavy flow and lasted a total of about a week.
As for when to try again, I was told wait one cycle and then I was free to move forward.
Just make sure your dr checks your levels til they go to zero.

Mine was at 5.5 weeks, and my dr called it a chemical, but anyway, the first day was light. The next 2 or 3 were heavy, and then I think I had 2 or 3 more lighter days.

She said to wait 3 cycles. I'm not sure why, but we didn't listen and only waited 2. And that was mainly b/c I decided to get myself the chicken pox vaccine and you're supposed to wait 30 days after that.
