If you had or have endometriosis...
Can you describe any of the symptoms that you had or are having?? I am worried that I have this...and it has been over looked

I had really severe cramping during and after AF. It was mostly on my left side.
Finally- when the pain got un-bearable I had a minor surgery done to confirm that I had it. (that is the only way to confirm you had it)
FM me any time if you have questions... I call myself the Endo queen. I can tell you how I was treated.

I always hear people refer to Endo as if it can go away. I was diagnosed with it in 2003 when I had the laproscopic surgery and removed 2 cysts. But that by no means determined that I no longer have it. I dont believe it goes away...but I get the sense from others that after surgery it does...can someone please clarify.

What about BC does that help it....I am not TTC right now but in about 1-2 years I will be...I want to get this taken care of now to avoid complications

BCP does help the symptoms and can stop the growth. Sometimes treatment such as lupron is also used.
Unfortunately, endometriosis is not something that 'goes' away' but it can definitely be 'controlled' .
