how long did it take you to get pregnant again?

I got pregnant very quickly with DS. This pregnancy took us 13 months and 2iui's (unexplained second infertility). There was some fluid over my c/s scar that could have been a slight factor.

took me 7 months.. first few months were (if it happens it happens) then kind of were a little more carefull the next few months because we didn't want a baby around any holidays.. and decided last month to actually go for it and happened first shot so technically I guess it was right away....

First pregnancy we weren't trying but weren't preventing...
Second DS was conceived in our first month trying.
Both were scheduled c/s

with DD it was the first month trying (she's my second)
DS took 2 months but when i went back and looked at the calendar i was off on my fertile days the first month trying.
C/S for both

1st month trying - but I also have PCOS and very irregular cycles so it was a surprise that it happened so quickly (it happened on a 43 day cycle).

Thanks everyone. My friend has been trying (actively) for 15 months now and nothing. Her drs can't explain it , all they say is that most women have a hard time getting pregnant after a c/s

Hmmmmmm - this is very interesting to me. With my first it took about 2 months - he ended up a cs. I we have been at it about 6 months for the second and no luck.

I got pg when DD#1 was around 16 months old. We weren't trying.

I got pregnant with DS2 the 2nd month of trying. I'm sorry for your friend but I have never heard that the reason for secondary infertility is a c/s

We werent trying... but also werent actively preventing. 16 weeks pg now with #2... DS is almost 10 months old.

I've never heard that a c-section could cause fertility issues. I only have 1, but a friend needed fertility treatments to conceive her twins. She got pregnant easily with #3 and unexpectedly with #4. All were c-sections within 2.5 years.

I know, crazy right? I have heard it before, but I thought it was a made up thing, I guess not. Another case I heard yesterday : I was talking to my sister and told her about this friend of mine (she is my DD's godmother) , she said that a friend of hers has 4 kids, first 3 were VB and the 4th one was a C/S , she got pregnant less than a year in between each kid  the are trying to get pregnant again and no luck,it's been almost 2 years, there is no "reason" , so the only thing drs are saying is that a CS / scar tissue may have something to do with it .

1st month barely trying.
We waited till DS was about a little over a year old per the OBGYN's recommendations.
