If you have a shower stall with no tub

How do you shave your legs?? We just moved and our master bathroom has a stall...its maybe 2/3 the length it would be if it had a bathtub. I have no idea how to shave my legs in there!! Should I get a shower seat or something??

Only a shower stall here, the length is of a tub, but no tub is present. I lift my leg and put my foot on the wall. That's how I shave! It's not as bad as you think standing on one leg. Also, then you're not sitting in the dirty, hairy water if you were to do it in a filled bathtub.

Word of Advice:

When shaving the back of your legs (behind the knees), make sure you have your leg straight, I tend to just keep my feet on the floor for that. Otherwise, ouch!

They have little small 'rests' you can put up in the shower - just big enough to put your foot on to shave.

i used to just put my leg up on the wall. tonight... i sat on the floor of the shower (we have a detachable shower head so i put that on the floor too so i wasn't washing the shaving cream off). I can't hold my leg up anymore and reach the lower part of my leg... baby bear is in the way.

eta - be more careful though, i cut myself A LOT more since having a stall shower. foot slides down the wall sometimes at the wrong moment.

We have a little shelf about halfway up the wall...I tried using that. It worked, but I was so nervous about slipping and slicing my leg open that I don't know if that'll work long term

I wedge my foot into a corner and shave that way - even was able to do it at 40+ weeks pregnant!

I wanted to get a little soap dish installed to put my foot on but my FIL said he has seen people lean too much weight on them and rip them right out of the wall! LOL not sure if he was hinting at something but I gave up that idea.

I, too, put my leg on the wall to shave. the lower portion of my leg. I always mean to buy a little plastic step stool to put in there, but I forget about it when I am out shopping.

I dont' shave in the shower.
I get a much better shave if I do it outside the shower- I can see better, reach around better and I don't have water flying in my face while doing it.


I usually put my leg up on the toilet and go from there.

I sit. I tried standing and I just knicked myself too much. So I sit. And pray that I will get some windfall in which I can rip out my bathroom and get a tub.

I got myself an Intuition for this very reason. Just bend and shave. It's not very comfortable but it will have to do until we move!

We had a heated bench added to ours. Not very big but gets the job done

I wear glasses so I can't shave in the shower. I just put my leg up on the toilet lid.

We have a tub but I actually shave outside the shower! I fill the sunk with water , wet my legs with a wash cloth, and lather and shave ringing the razor in the sink filled with water. I feel like I get a better shave and never get razor burn (I have very sensitive skin)

i have a showe stall the size of a tub and i just lift my leg and put my foot up agaisnt the wall.
