Savings. We agreed that the only "improvement" we'll ever finance is an addition we've been dreaming about.

if accepted, credit card for the points and then pay off once bill is received (money from savings). if cash only, pay with savings.
Same here. We recently put in a front and rear walkway & patio...bought outdoor furniture and landscaping - definitely in the $12-15k range total. We paid cash when necessary and charged the rest (for the points). Our CC bill is paid in full every month. For this project, instead of dipping into savings, we used our tax return money.

We just had both bathrooms gutted and renovated in our house and we used our savings. It killed me but it had to be done.

When we did our kitchen, we did a 0% CC for 6 months and then paid it off in full ... I hate being in debt... but I do love my credit card points, so we charge everything and pay in full each month

Only savings. We don't have a mortgage on our house and refuse to finance anything through a bank such as a HELOC.
