If you have sliding glass doors in your kitchen leading to your backyard...
What do you have on them? Blinds? Curtains? We currently have verticals blinds and I HATE them. Any other suggestions?

We did the same thing that MsSissy did using grommet-style curtains. I got them at Home Goods for $20 for set of 2 panels. Ended up buying 4 panels to span the entire door.

We don't have sliders in our kitchen but I have them in my dining room off to the deck. I LOVE what I did. We put luminettes up. They were pricey but SO worth it. They look gorgeous.

Luminettes from Hunter Douglas? I have these too and love them (but on a large window, not doors).

Sorry pic is sideways. But we just got plantation shutters installed. They are panels on a track, they're awesome

The doors are in the dining room but we have curtains hanging from the frame.

Thanks ladies!! We are looking to move OOS next year so I don't want to spend too much money. I think ill go with curtains for now. But in saving this thread because I LOVE the other ideas as well and would definitely spend the money when we move!!

I am looking to do something similar - can I ask where you got these? Also, is there any way to open them up entirely to get full light from all doors (ie: do they swing open like a door?) TIA!

I'm in fl, but any blind company or vertical company should also install plantation shutters. They are on a track and roll behind one another interchangeably. You either push them both over to one side, or just open the slats for full light. No they don't fold over like a door, or accordion. You prob could get accordion type shutters if you had more space on each side.
