How do you style for an occasion (wedding, nice party)?

I feel like my hair is so boring when I go to weddings. I want to spice it up a little without having it take forever to do.

ETA: took the pic down...thanks!!

Im in the same boat. My hair is very similar minus the long bangs (which look really cute on you BTW)
Normally if i have a really nice occasion, i get it blown out

Hot rollers. It is old school, but it gives nice body and some great waves that bounce around.

How long do you leave them in for?

i have same hair as you and i either use the hot rollers and leave them in for like a half hour or use the curling iron... always leave it down or pin up just the bangs with the poof on the top

You have to experiment. My hair is a bit thicker, so I use the larger curlers mostly and I usually leave them in for about 20 minutes (while I do makeup and stuff). I ran a few test trials on Sunday mornings to get it right, before I did it for an actual party.
