If you have two or more what's your christmas budget
Per child?
Also,
I am thinking money does not go as far as they get older. About how many gifts will each child have under the tree?

I was just going through my excel sheet!  My budget is definitely tighter this year and each child has the same amount - but I am also trying to keep it equal with the number of gifts.
As far as how many gifts...I go into this craziness with a budget in mind and not so much a number for gifts under the tree. But I do keep track because I like them each to have an equal amount. I also like things to be the same...for example they both have a larger item that will be assembled and on display near the tree.

My DD is 8 and my DS is 16 months, so they will have different budgets. I am going to try to make sure they have the same number of gifts though.

Me too....i might try a budget next year because I spent too much on my kids already!!
I spent more $ on my older son (3 1/2) than I did my twins (who are 1). He is just so easy to buy for b/c he likes so much. The babies have so much, their birthday was 2 weeks ago and I feel like right now they won't notice the difference. They have a lot of gifts still...too much.
DS has one big "wow" gift and the babies each have one too.

My kids are 15 months & 2 months (so add 1 mo. ea. for Christmas). My budget for each was $200-250. I'm about $50-75 under budget for my 15 month old, and I probably spent about $100 on the newborn. The NB will be getting her older sister's exersaucer under the tree as her "big gift" from Santa, so that was a big $$ saver.

when you have an older kid, I feel like I can't have a budget, everything she wants is sooooooo expensive! She is getting 2 big things, samsung epic, and the kindle. Rest will be clothes, which tends to be big gifts anyway, well to me....she loves american eagle and A&F
My 4 month old will prolly get around 300 for the things he needs, and some new toys. He really needs clothes, badly.

No budget really, but my 2.5 year old is getting most of the stuff...my 5 month old has so much from her sister and really doesn't need a thing..I got her two cute new toys, and she'll be spoiled by everyone else. I will say that my older DD is making out like a bandit!

Our kids are 5, 4 and 1 and I"m trying to keep it to $1000 total, mostly evenly divided - although the baby will probably get a bit short-changed since he doesn't know the difference yet!
