If you heard people screaming at their pets all day long...
Would you do something???? It's out of control!
The houses are very close to say the least around here and you here EVERYTHING ...These people are constantly screaming at their dogs...It sad

hmmm, that is a tough one. It would definitely upset me, but legally I am not sure there are laws against verbal abuse of a pet.
I hate that though. Ya know you do not HAVE to have a pet. To get one and then treat it badly...I just don't get it.

Do you live next door to me?  I know it's not nice but I yelled at my dogs today when they got into the kitty litter and chewed up $hit all over my living room not once, but twice today. I know I shouldnt yell at them and I usually dont but today they were unusually bad, probably b/c it was raining and they couldnt run around outside.
What kind of dogs do they have? When you say they yell at them, what are they yelling at them about? Do they hit them? I would imagine if it is that bad and you feel the dogs are being abused you could call some kind of animal abuse agency.

No...I am talking every single day...Screaming, ranting, etc...VERY LOUD! I totally understand yelling at a pet for doing something wrong..I grew up in a family where we always had dogs. This is really excessive.

Have you told them that you can hear them yelling all day long? Maybe a little embarrassment can help to curtail the yelling.

I used to live across the street from a girl who used to scream at her dog all day long, anyway her nextdoor neighbour had a bird - I think a parrot it used to imitate this girl screaming the dogs name, it was hilarious, but bloody annoying to hear her screaming at the dog all the time. We all said something to her, but it made no difference, she still screamed, poor doggy
