If you live in Nassau County,
do you drink the tap water?

Re: If you live in Nassau County,
I drink it at times. My ice cubes are made from it, and I'll drink from the bathroom sink at night. I have a Brita pitcher in the fridge for most of my water though.

Re: If you live in Nassau County,
Yes. I actually prefer it over the water cooler we have in our house. We have Chester Mountain water for the cooler. It's fine, I just prefer the tap chilled in the fridge (I keep a pitcher of water from the tap in the fridge). We have Jericho Water.

Re: If you live in Nassau County,
does through a fridge filter that comes out on the door count as tap?
It is tap... but filtered!

Re: If you live in Nassau County,
I don't, but I drink the water that comes to me at a diner or restaurant and I assume that's from the tap Otherwise, at home I always drink bottled.

Re: If you live in Nassau County,
My water company is Aqua and we apparently pay some of the highest rates for water in the country. When I moved to my new house they sent me a mailer telling me that their average water customer's annual bills are $400-$500 a year. So yes, I drink it!

Re: If you live in Nassau County,
I live in Queens but in our house we only drink tap.
My cousin who lives in Plainview was so shocked by this and put off by the fact that I did not have bottled water...but I rarely drink bottled water. If I am out and thirsty obviously I will buy it but even for the gym I usually fill a bottle with the water fountain water.

Re: If you live in Nassau County,
I don't live there anymore, but my parents still do & I always drink thw tap water. It has been voted best tasting water several times!
Normally I don't like tap water--I use a Brita at home (Westchester & Poland Spring from the cooler at work in Manhattan)

Yes. We have a brita in the fridge and our ice cubes are tap water. I also make crystal light with it.

Re: If you live in Nassau County,
When I lived in Nassau, I always drank out the tap. My parents, however, started buying bottled water about 6 years ago for convenience - grab and go. IMO, bottled water is a waste of money and plastic.
