State Farm (I think). We had All State but they dropped us b/c of our proximity to the water

Same for us. I just refered someone to State Farm and my agent said the were not writing any new home owners policiees right now...

Thank you for the recommendations.
We currently have Allstate (for almost 6 yrs) and my rep told me that they would not cover us if we moved that close to the water.

We use Mercury. Travellers will also insure near the water. We're on the South Shore and it was almost impossible to find someone to insure us, we wound up using a broker after I called like 12 companies on my own with no luck.
