If you live OOS from your parents, what types of baby gear are you stocking their house with?

My parents are getting a lot of hand-me-downs from relatives, but I want to make sure they have everything they need for our visits so that I don't have to lug stuff back and forth.

What are grandma's house "must haves"?

The 2 must-haves, in my opinion, are a crib and a car-seat. It would also be nice if there was a swing or a bouncer there, but I don't know if that's quite as necessary.

My ILs have a crib, a highchair and an extra car seat for when we fly.

My Mom has a pack n play, high chair, bouncy seat, stroller, bottles, formula, food, bowls, spoons, diapers, wipes, base for infant seat, toys. The only things I bring there now are his swing and exersaucer. But it is a PITA.

My mom went out and bought a ton of stuff. She has a PNP (and eventually bought a crib b/c DS hates the PNP), changing pad/cover, highchair, bathtub, small reclining seat, diapers, wipes, diaper champ, wash cloths, bibs, towels, tons of toys and feeding stuff (spoons, cups, etc). We go down there at least one weekend per month and it's so nice to not have to worry about bringing a ton of stuff.

I think the most important things to have are a place for DC to sleep and a seat for DC to eat.

When my sister came to visit my mom got a

-pack n play
-bouncer
-bath tub
-some toys
-graco travel system stroller

Since my mom will be watching the baby while I am at work I would need to get a high chair, exasauser, more toys...hopefully I can take from my SIL Chat Icon
