If you or someone you know is looking for a marriage equality church
when I drove past the Wantagh Memorial Congregational Church earlier today they had updated their sign out front to state they are an Equal Marriage Church. It's on Wantagh Ave a few blocks north of Sunrise Highway.

That makes me happy! I drove past a church the other day and their sign said something along the lines of "marriage is a unity between one man and one woman" Made me so angry!!!

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowships are also "welcoming" houses of worship... GLBT are not only welcomed but celebrated. The UUFH was only one of two or three religious groups to march in the LI Pride parade two weeks ago.
There are several members who are already married in other states. One is local politician Jon Cooper, he and his husband married in Conn. several years ago.

Centerport congregational has already performed them. My friend got married there 2 yrs ago

I know this church! I live nearby and a few months ago they had this on their sign:
"God needs fewer religious nuts and more spiritual fruits."
