I'm in HR, so no I would not tell someone I overheard the banter from my boss.

The most I would do is tell the person that I think her performance is lacking & express concern for her situation.

If you want to FM me more, I can probably come up with better wording.

Thanks! I actually have decided since posting that the best thing for me to do is to not get involved. I am sure this person is well aware of her situation anyways after an email that went out from our supervisor last night to everyone about not checking in with him via email each day regarding our schedule, and making productive use of our time.


I realize it's not my place and I don't want it to come back to me in some kind of negative light.
