If you own a small business - what insurance do you have?

We are shopping around for an insurance - there are so many out there and some are so expensive.

Just curious what insurance you have if you own a small business?

It depends on what you need. If you have employees, you will need unemployment, short term disability and Workers' Comp. My most important insurance policies are malpractice (known as errors and omissions insurance in other industries) and premises liability. Thankfully I have never had to use either one but they are still so important. My friend is a lawyer who specializes in startups for small businesses. I can't believe how many people forget to buy things like Workers' Comp. insurance and then they get hit with fines for not having it. All in all, my insurance does not cost as much as I thought it would before I got started.
