How long do you wait before you go to get them if they dont nap?

Well we are making SOME progress over here. I put Megan in the crib awake at nap time and leave. She cries for 5 minutes but then babbles. I hear her through the monitor now. She has been up there for a half hour almost.

When do I say..ok shes not going to sleep and go up and get her? An hour? Less? I feel bad leaving her up there doing nothing but then again, if she were napping, it would be the same thing no?

If she's content, I just leave her. Even if she doesn't nap, the quiet alone time is good for them. My Lauren lets me know when she's had enough alone time, she starts calling Momma!!

I do the same thing. There was a day last week, I was JUST about to go get him and all of a sudden the monitor went quiet. He was out cold.
It was just about an hour. Chat Icon

My DD does this too sometimes...I let her be for about an hour...sometimes I'm just about to go & get her & I walk in & she's out (after 40 min. of babbling, playing w/ her teddy).
