If you re-covered/re-upholstered your Glider, please come in! UPDATED in first post
Was it hard? Ours has tan fabric and I'd like to cover it in a fabric that coordinates with DD's bedding but I'm afraid I'll make a mess of it. Any suggestions?
TIA!
I found an Etsy vendor that I am going to have do it-
Incase anyone is interested - here's a link to her shop

It's going to take 6-8 weeks and I will update when I receive it!

We have a dutalier glider from ds that is now in dd's room and the upholstery is terrible I am very interested in exploring recovering it as well or having a custom slipcover made...
What about Fabric Mill in Plainview? I was thinking of going there for an estimate...far cheaper than a new chair...

I'd like to do the same with my Dutalier glider. I can't even figure out how to take the cushion off though. If I do, I think I'm just going to buy some nice fabric and bring it to a place that will reupolster it. I called Dutalier about getting a new cushion and I think they said I can special order one from BRU. I don't exactly remember though b/c I never followed through with it but I do remember something about BRU.

Our set is Bellini and they actually sell glider covers to fit their chairs...Wonder if their covers would fit another chair...Maybe they have something that would coordinate ??

You have to use their fabric - you can't bring them your own. I can buy the fabric that matches the bedding by the yard, so I want to use that.

Thanks for posting! This is good to know! Although I am still undecided about buying another glider altogether!
