If you redid your bathroom yourself?
Around how much did it cost? Was it a total redo (gut) or fix up? Trying to get an estimate of what ours will cost and how much we should do. Thanks.

We added a bathroom - it was a big closet and that was under $5K and looks great (but DH & his dad did the plumbing, tiling, etc.)
And we're in the process of updating our other bathroom which is going to be about $3500 I want to say.
Upstairs is a tub, single vanity sink & mirror from Consumers and toilet (obviously)
Downstairs we're replacing tub with full shower (receptor is 5 ft same as bath), glass door, tub, sink & medicine cabinet.

We gutted it and redid it for less that 2K. But we have a connection in the tile business

About 5K is right; we went down to studs and did everything ourselves. The only thing was that we did not move any pipes, we kept them where they were.

We gutted and redid a small bath ourselves entirely. Cost around 3k for materials, but we could have bough cheaper materials if we wanted.

We spent around 4K for a total gut and redo of our small full bath. We could have gone cheaper if we wanted.
We got a lot of our stuff from Home Depot Expo and Lowes. The lighting was from LampsPlus and some accessories (there is a serious storage issue in our house) was from JC Penneys.
