If you see a strange # on your caller ID...
Do you call that person back?
(To clarify...said person doesnt leave you a message. All you know is that someone from that # called you b/c it was on your caller ID)

This just happened to me 10 minutes ago. Someone just called me and did not leave a message. I *67 then their # so they don't know I am the one calling.

If they call once, I ignore it.
If they keep calling (whether all the same day or over a period of weeks), then eventually I answer it (the third or fourth time) if they never leave a msg.

I let it go to voice mail. If they still leave a message and it is for someone else, I will call them to tell them they have the wrong number. I had this happen last week - it was an elderly man who called me 3 times in 20 minutes.

No, I totally don't have the balls. DH always calls the person back 
ETA: not my calls, but his own strange # calls. I just let mine be and if the person calls back, great. If not, then okay too.
