If you suffered from extreme morning sickness, would you still take your toddler to Disney?
DH has a conference in Orlando. We were planning to go altogether. DH will be occupied most of the day so DS will be my responsibility. I've been suffering from extreme morning sickness and been laying down a lot.
Would you still go to Disney if you had extreme morning sickness?

Personally, I wouldn't. The heat made me feel even more sick, and FL in summer is brutal, and I wouldn't want to get sick on the plane.

We would be going in the fall but the plane ride would for sure make me gag.
I made the mistake of traveling to the Grand Canyon with my family when I was pregnant with DS. The whole trip was beyond miserable.

You might be feeling better by then...How far along will you be? For me the first tri was the worst, but if you were miserable your last trip while PG, I wouldn't risk it again with a toddler you would be solely responsible for.

I was sick until the very end with my first pregnancy. I am really hoping that this pregnancy will be different.
I'm pretty bummed because I was looking forward to taking DS to happiest place on earth.

You'll get to go again when you'll be able to enjoy it with him. At his age, he probably wouldn't appreciate it as much as he would a little bit older anyway.

Re: If you suffered from extreme morning sickness, would you still take your toddler to Disney?
i had severe morning sickness last summer & spent a lot of time at the beach. Going in the cold pool helped a lot. I also got sea bands (bracelets that help with motion sickness) this was a lifesaver. last try ginger ale.
just wanted to add it is very HOT in florida this time of year. if the heat doesn't effect you that def do it. I don't mind the heat & either do my girls. so i think it depends on how well you both feel about extreme heat.

No, WDW is a lot of walking/work if you are going with a toddler- it isn't relaxing if you don't feel well. There are lot of pregnant women there but if you have bad morning sickness I would risk it. If you aren't going until the fall do you think the MS will pass by then? The heat, lots of walking and long lines doesn't make for a great combination if you have MS, but if you think it might be gone by then you could always give it a try - and then skip the parks and just do the pool if it isn't gone.
