Battling morning sickness and chasing a toddler
I've been having really bad morning sickness. I feel like I'm being such a bad mom and neglecting 16m DS.
How do other mommies juggle horrible morning sickness and a toddler?

Re: Battling morning sickness and chasing a toddler
I had REALLY bad m/s this time around. Lasted from the moment I got my BFP until I was about 23 weeks.
Sadly, I kept us locked up in DD's playroom ALOT and would lay on the couch while she played, or I would plop her in front of the TV, except she has the attention span of a flea and TV is really only good for about 20 mintues with her.
It was hard...

DS is definitely getting much more tv than I would like lately.
I had m/s until I delivered for my first pregnancy. I'm hoping this pregnancy isn't as brutal.

I had a really bad morning sickness up until 27-28 weeks... in the morning ds watched some cartoons and when he played in his room I'd just lay on his bed and watch him play... yeah you feel bad but there is not much you can do about it, just the way it is

You poor thing This will be my worst nightmare with my second pregnancy... I was so sick this first time around... until about 16-17 weeks.. I cannot even imagine having to chase around a little one and feel that way! Hopefully it passes soon!

Re: Battling morning sickness and chasing a toddler
I had constant 24/7 nausea this time around, I threw up a handful of times, but the nausea was the worst!!! I could do nothing but lay on the couch! My DD played a lot in her playroom, and watched some TV. She is not that drawn to the TV that she would sit the whole time, it was more like background noise for her. One day she did watch "finding nemo" and it was great to relax on the couch for the hour and a half. This was the hardest part (so far) of being pregnant with #2.
