If you switched formula after the Similac recall....are you switching back?
Before the recall DS was on Similac Sensitive and it seemed to be working good for him......then the recall happened. He didn't do well on the RTF so we then switched him to Enfamil Gentlease and I was that it would work as well if not better, well so much for that. He has been on it for over a week now and he seems to throw up after feedings a lot. I seriously HATE formula! We've switched him a few times already before the recall (all similac products though) and I don't want to switched him again to another brand and am thinking about going back to Similac sensitive.
Anyone else switch and have a bad experience with it and so are switching back?

I went to the rtf sensitive similac from the powder one. I feel like she spits up more on this then the powder but I think I am going back to the powder once available. I had a can of the enfamil that I used b/c of the recall but I didn't like the way mixed or anything about it so we went to rtf.

Re: If you switched formula after the Similac recall....are you switching back?
I already ordered 3 cases of the powdered cans directly from Similac.
They are offering free overnight shipping on one case. And if you have never ordered from them before there should be a code on the site some where for 15% off.
We tried out the generic brand after the recall and she was spitting up a lot. I have bought Enfamil before when I get coupons and she is fine on that too.

We are using the RTF....he is doing very well on it....considering 2 months ago it was HORRIBLE for him. BRU is actually selling the case of 6 1quart bottles for $24.30! Plus we had a $5 off from BBB and a $5 similac check.

DS hated RTF wouldn't take it for the most part. So then this weekend we tried Target up & Up. He did better with it but wasn't a fan.
Costco has an 8 pack of the 12.6 oz powder cans that were not affected by the recall and we switched back last night. He drank it all and today seems to be doing well with going back to it.

Re: If you switched formula after the Similac recall....are you switching back?
We switched to Enfamil from Similac Advanced and I can't wait to switch back. I don't like the consistancy of Enfamil. I find the powder is like cake batter and you have to shake it really well or you get clumps. Similac dissolves much better. Similac website is selling the powder I just bought a big container of Enfamil this weekend from BJ's.

Re: If you switched formula after the Similac recall....are you switching back?
I noticed that as well with the way it mixes. I mix it in larger quantities in a formula pitcher and at first I thought it was better, but that's because I didn't notice all the unmixed clumps floating up top or stuck to the mixing blade! I also do not like the packaging, those bags are a pain!

we switched DS to enfamil. 2 days on it and DS spit up 4 times (he never spits up). Went to similac RTF, cannot wait to get the powder warming up bottles and keeping them cool is a hassel

We will be going back to Similac. Even though DS is doing ok on the Target brand it is costing us $15 every 4 days. When he was on Similac & I bought at BJ's we got through 2 cans every 2.5 weeks.
