If you use bottle drop ins please come in!
When using the bottle drop-ins do you push the air out before giving the bottle to baby or leave it as is?
TIA

I used to push it out, now I just leave it. DD is now 8 months though.
I think it is good to do though so they don't get gas.

I did it on occassion. I had some judgmental friends that looked at me sideways when I didnt push the air out. When I did NOT push it out DS was & still is fine.

I do - I figure it takes 2 seconds to do, so might as well.

I do it. DS has issue with gas. Removing the air out is like night and day for him.

Re: If you use bottle drop ins please come in!
We started using them when DD was 1 month old. You don't have to push the air out, just make sure no air is in nipple when eating.. same as with any bottle. We found it annoying to push the air out because if we didn't out it right in her mouth it started filling up with air again. So far no problem with gas issue..DD is 5 months next week. GOOD LUCK
