If you use Target curbside pickup
Can you/do you tip? I use this service fairly often and was wondering if it was customary to tip or they are just grateful I'm not spending 50 hours browsing the aisles
If you tip do you do a percentage based on what you spend or just a general amount? TIA

If you use Target curbside pickup
I tried to tip the first time I used it (on vacation out of state) and the person said they aren’t allowed to take tips.

I do not tip. But I also dont think it’s necessary tip everyone for doing a job they are getting paid for already. Tipping is out of hand!!
I do believe in tipping waiters and waitresses because I know they don’t make as much though nowadays are they really among low money like the used too and really depend on tips? Don’t get me wrong I still tip them like they do but I feel like they are paid more money.
Same goes for hair stylists and nail technician. I feel like they rely on tips.

I don’t use target curbside (I pick up in store because I always wind up needing something else)
But I do use stop n shop curbside and yes, I tip. It’s not a percentage. I usually put $5 in an envelope and write thank you on it. It’s basically a thanks to everyone for doing the part of shopping I despise.
My grocery bill is in the $75-$120 range weekly.

Oh, maybe? That's weird. I alternate between two locations, one in Nassau and one in Queens.

I’m so glad you posted this because I was concerned - after I was told the one time they couldn’t accept tips I didn’t try again. I don’t want to seem cheap - especially since they are saving me money as I would spend so much more just walking in the store.

I use Target pickup all the time. Mostly because I am usually running around with my 3 kids. It never even occurred to me to tip. Sometimes I order a bottle of Advil or whatever and it takes them literally 2 secs to bring to the car. I wouldn’t even know what to tip for that.

Mine is in Suffolk. Not sure if that makes a difference, but definitely different locations.
