If you use(d) the Fisher Price Rock N' Play sleeper...

If you used it as the primary sleep place for your DC:

1. When did you retire it and move them to the crib?
2. Was it a hard transition to the crib?

I try to get DD to nap in the crib to get used to it, but when she hits the hard, flat mattress she just wants to play.. she's so used to her angled, pod-like, cozy sleeper I worry she'll never sleep in the crib!

We switched DS to the crib around 6 weeks. Surprisingly we didn't have any problems but I think it is bc we did it so young. He still naps in the rocker. He rarely naps in his crib b/c he won't stay asleep for long in there during the day.

1. When did you retire it and move them to the crib?

I retired it for the most part when we moved to our house. He was about 4.5 months then. At 6 months I used it recently when he was congested so he could be elevated and breathe better...he's 19lbs so he still fits.

2. Was it a hard transition to the crib?

It wasn't hard to transition him.

I must say that when I tried to have him sleep in his pack and play bassinet he hated it....I guess becauee it was soo flat and hard..he was also younger so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Good to hear he can use it at such an "old age" Chat Icon When she's flat on her back she just wants to play, I can imagine it's tough to sleep like that after being so cozy in the sleeper.. she's 7.5 weeks, I feel like i need to do the transition soon!
