If you went from Enfamil Premium Newborn to Enfamil Gentle Ease, please share your experience. UPDATE: She wouldn't eat Gentle Ease!
we're going to make the switch; Sonya is way too gassy and a bit constipated. I'm using gripe water and mylicon but when the poor thing goes 2 days without pooping she's miserable. She grunts and pushes. :( The gas seems to be my little angel baby's only issue right now!
Who knew a 5-wk-old had such refined taste buds! She turned her mouth to it and would NOT eat it and made a yucky face! Now, the big mistake was trying this at night. She was out of the Newborn stuff at about 8, so I bought the gentle ease and planned ahead for night. Well, DH ended up in Rite Aid at 3 am to buy Similac Sensitive, which seems to be going very well. Oh man!

Gentlease works fab! Love it! The only difference between the two is that gentlease does not have the extra vitamin d (so if you are using less than 32oz/day of formula you will have to supplement with vit d drops), and the proteins are partially broken down, with reduced lactose.

I had to switch both of my boys to Gentlease. I ended up using Target brand which is the same...I also changed their bottles to Dr. Brown's. They are a PITA to clean, but between the bottles and the formula, there was NO gas at all....good luck!

We switched AJ to Gentlease at 7 weeks and he became a new baby. It was magic!

We switched to gentle ease and started using Dr. Brown's since they help with gas and it worked great. Her poops were normal in consistency and frequency. I switched her back to regular after about 3-4 months.

We swtiched as well and use Born Free bottles. I do notice a difference, however she still has some gas but it doesn't seem to bother her as much.
DD is also on Prevacid for reflux. So between the two we seem to be doing much better.
