if you were getting a new watch as a gift
and you were asked for a few suggestions what would you pick?
DH wants to buy me a watch, I already have several. I want something new that I can wear for business but not too stuffy.
I like both two tone & silver?white gold finishes.
I prefer classic watch companies, I feel like everything I'm picking looks just like something I already have.
Price limit $2000

I personally love Bulova watches - they are so classic and wear so well, I have one that works for both casual and business attire. It's mostly silver but the hands of the watch and the crown are gold.

I have a Raymond Weil watch (tango) and I love it. I've had it for 10 yrs and it still runs perfectly and looks great.

I have a Bulova and an Ebel. Both round face. The bulova has a blue mother of pearl face and the ebel has a sapphire blue face, diamonds around. Both stainless.

I have this Michele...
DH got me the bracelet strap last year for Xmas and I love it again! I've had it forever and still keeps perfect time.

I have a Michele watch I love. And I like the fact that i can switch out the silver band for leather straps.
If I were to get another, I would probably go with the Cartier that was posted above, or a Tag.

Well, your budget is pretty good! So, that really increases the suggestions for me... In general, I really love the new ceramic watches. I would get a really hot ceramic watch! Michael Kors has them. Chanel or Dior makes them.
But, for a more high end watch that is a known watch maker DEFINITELY Philip Stein or a diamond faced Movado !!!!!!!!
Oprah had Philip Stein's watches on her favorite things - they are FAB!!!!

Thank you for all of the replies, the Michele watches are pretty, but when I've tried them on I felt like they looked too big or weird or something on my wrist.
I found a Concord that I love, I already have one that I got when I was 18 and its perfect. I'm on my blackberry now but I will post a pic later from home.
I really don't need another watch, I don't know why DH wants to buy one so badly so if I can't find something that I'm really excited about I'm going to tell him to get me something else LOL
