I think you'd be fine either way. I don't know many adults who don't like Oreos!! Otherwise, you could make oatmeal cookies, sugar cookies, snickerdoodles, so many choices!

Nut free in our district means you also can't make your own. I would double check before you bring them. I think Oreos are fine though

ShopRite sells nut free premade pink/white and yellow/white cookies and mini cupcakes in the bakery section. I would bring them. I am not sure whether Oreos are made in a nut free facility.

ETA: In both of my kids schools you are not permitted to bring in home made food.

Whole Foods carries a line of cookies and brownies called School Safe that are nut free. They are delicious!

Same in our district.

Unfortunately there is no way to verify that home-made stuff really is "nut free" so most schools will require packaged items.

I think she means the soft ones in Shop and Stop, with the thick frosting, in the bakery section? Not sure if they are nut free though. What about something like Lorna Dunes or Social Tea (again, not sure if they are nut free).

Both of my kids are anaphylactic Peanut-Tree Nut allergic. I cannot let them eat anything that is home made, unless I made it.

You can buy:
Oreos
Chips A Hoy
Social T's
