If your baby didn't cooperate at your level II...
did you later on find out the sex? I had my level II yesterday and the baby wouldn't cooperate. I asked if I would have another chance to find out the sex and they said they got everything they needed so I would only have another sonogram if I developed some kind of problem later on. My ob doesn't even do songorams in my regular office so I have to go somewhere else so it's unlikely that they'll just give me another sono. I'm so happy that the baby was healthy, but kind of disappointed that we couldn't find out the sex.

our baby was uncooperative at the level II as well...luckily she couldnt get all the measurements and things she needed so we had to come back. if we couldnt find out we prob would have went for the 3d/4d sono cause my DH was dying to know and so was i at first but then i figured maybe its a sign were not supposed to know

Our baby did not cooperate at our 20 week sono, so they sent me to another place for a Level II. The baby didn't cooperate very well there either, but the tech guessed it was a girl. She didn't sound too positive and since they did get all the measurements they needed my dr's office would not send me for another sono. We ended up paying for a 3d sono to get the confirmation we needed.

Yeah, I'm thinking of going for a 3D sono. They do them at my doctor's office, but not until 27-32 weeks so that means at least another 7 weeks of waiting! ahh! i'm so impatient!

You can go for a regular 2d sonogram at Impact for $50 for gender determination. If they can't tell the gender, you get to go back until they can tell you!~

I just remembered that a friend of mine recently had a 3D sono done near me in NJ so I called the place and they do gender determination sonograms too. I have an appointment for this Thursday!
