If your belly is measuring a week early???

Does that mean that your edd is a week later??
My whole pregnancy my belly has been measuring one week early and the doc always says that I'm measuring perfectly. My last actual sono was at 20 weeks, and at that time my baby was in the average to bigger percentile. Therefore, I've only had belly measurments since and I know they aren't so accurate.

Belly or Sono?

My sono had an EDD of 5 days early at 10 weeks. I get measured again tomorrow, my tummy is growing so fast!

But due dates aren't really accurate and there are a lot of factors to consider...

Unfortunately, no. My obgyn said that unless you are measuring three weeks or more ahead, then he would not change the due date. As an example, at my 31 week appointment I was measuring only 30 weeks. At my 33 week appointment I was measuring 33 weeks. There are some times that the baby goes through a growth spurt and you just get it at the visit.

If you are consistently measuring big your obgyn may send you for growth sonos later on or makeyou take the GD test early.

I was measuring a week and a 1/2 early at my first (7w) sono. My Dr. changed my EDD. Even with my new EDD, I was still measuring ahead a few days but that doesn't mean anything. I'm hoping b/c I'm measuring ahead, I will go a little early, but that doesn't necessarily mean that.

After reading that article, its seems if you can just expect to go anytime around your due date whether it is two weeks early or two weeks late
