If your children share a room...
I need some advice. They don't techinically share a room right now, but Chase is in our room, and Dereks room is attached to our room (there is a door connecting the two).
Derek has been waking up for the past week and a half, and ending up in our bed, because we don't want him to wake Chase (who has his own sleeping issues, but was just diagnosed with a milk allergy, so I hope this will help him).
Anyway, I KNOW Derek needs CIO, and I tried to let him last night when he woke up, but within 2 minutes of him crying, Chase was up and screaming. Derek wouldn't nap in his crib for a couple of days, but one day of letting him cry (and it only took a short time) he was back to napping.
I think I'm just going to sleep in the living room with Chase all night tonight. Just wanted to see what you ladies do. Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing before I got to the bottom of your post: camp out in the living room or another area of the house while your son goes through CIO.
