If your DC was born with a head of hair.....

Did it fall out? If so, when? I know I've heard some babies completely lose it. I didn't know if DS was past the point and will be keeping it. TIA!!! Chat Icon

My first son had more than my second but both were born with enough hair and neither lost much at all.

CHarlie had a full head of dark hair when he was born. I say he didn't loose it, his head just got bigger, but DH says I'm ridiculous.
Around 3 months it was very thin then by 6 or 7 months, it started to get thick again.

When he was bornhe had a head full. It just stuck up everywhere. He didn't loose any of it. I am considering trimming it and he is not even 7 mths.

Re: If your DC was born with a head of hair.....

He had hair and it thinned out a lot, but he didn't go bald (except that little patch in the back that he always lays on). At 7 months it started to thicken on the top.

Steven had a full head of very thick hair. He started loosing it around 3 months. He never lost all of it. Then it started growing back in at around 7 or 8 months.

Both of my son's were born with a lot of hair. DS #2 is 3 1/2 months and I just trimmed it the other day. To answer your question, no they did not loose any other their hair.

Maybe at 4 months he started losing in patches...but never completely.

He is on haircut #6...those bangs go right into his eyes.

DS was born with a full head of hair and now at almost 4 months I am going to have to give him a haircut - his bangs are falling into his eyes.

Re: If your DC was born with a head of hair.....

Born with a full head of white blond hair- lost a bit at about 3 months- so much actually that I took a lock in case she lost it all.
It came back even thicker and still white blond.
