If your DC was invited to a kids party question

Would u prefer an 11am-12:30 party or a 1pm-2:30 party???

Trying to figure out the best time for a Saturday party.

TIA!

I would prefer the earlier because the other time of day is DS's nap time.

yes, lunch will be served.
I don't think the nap thing will be an issue though because all these kids are 5 yo.

Thanks, please keep the responses coming....

For us 1pm is best.... I guess it depends when your child naps

im trying to decide this too! im leaning towards 11/1130 that way everyone still has the entire day instead of having a party right smack in the middle of the day.

I know, that's what i was thinking, esp. because mine will be in the beginning of June and maybe people want to go to the beach or something if weather is nice.
I might see if i can do 11:30, instead of 11am..that is a little better IMO.
I just worry that maybe some of these kids do saturday morning activities, like soccer or baseball and it might interfere.

How old are the guests?

I think 11-12:30 is best if you have young kids who nap in the afternoon. I also think 1pm is a bit late for lunch.

We had a party at 10:30 a few weeks ago for my 4yo's preschool class. A handful of people were late because of swim/hockey/soccer but most were able to make it.

I'm doing my 4 year old's @ 11 .....I prefer it b/c it's early enough for them to nap if they're exhausted w/o killing the rest of the day and ruining their nighttime routine
