Question about food for kids at a party
For DD's 1st birthday I'm having heros and salads for the adults.
I plan to make chicken tenders for the kids.
Do I need to have enough of the chicken for the adults too?
I don't want everyone to start taking them and then have none left for the kids. Will the adults just know that they are for the kids??

Re: Question about food for kids at a party
I know that when i go to a party with kids and i see chicken fingers, I assume they are for the kids and i dont eat them.
why not get the ones shaped like dinasours or something like that, then the adults wont eat them.

I would play it safe and make extra. Based on my family events, adults will eat anything on the table. So I will def. make extra for them as well.

Make extra. Chicken fingers are usually a crowd favorite.

I would make extra but only because IMO, heros and salads isn't enough food for a party.. I hope I didn't offend.

You didn't offend at all! I usually go over board and have tons left over, but I'm trying to keep it small this time to save money. The party is early, so it's more lunch time, then dinner.

I think hero and salads are fine for a party. Sometimes it's nice to switch it up instead of trays of Italian food at every party.
