If your dog sleeps on your bed

If your dog sleeps on your bed, do they ever sleep completely UNDER your blankets by your legs?

My dog has been sleeping on top of my blankets for the last few months since we got her, and last night she decided she wanted to be under the blankets... so she kept burrowing under and curling up by my feet. I kept pulling her out, and she kept sneaking back under.

Can they breathe under there? I don't mind her there but worried if there's enough oxygen for her to breath all night under a heavy blanket.

Anyone else's dog do this?

Tiny, our 9 pound chihuahua sleeps under our covers every night. He pushes himself up against my wife and sleeps that was through the whole night.

He loves to be smooshed and he loves to be under the covers.

Mia sleeps on our bed.
We bought her 2 baby blankets, one for her to lay on and the other to lay under.

Our pup sleeps with us in the bed every night. She usually sleeps way down at the bottom by our feet. Every now and then, she'll come up to the top where our heads are and curl up between our heads. She's only 11 pounds, though - it's not like we have a great dane in the bed with us.

My dogs are probably a little bigger than yours. They don't sleep under the blankets by my feet. Instead, when I go to pee in the mornings, I sometimes come back to a red head in my bed. She jumps in my spot faster than you could ever imagine.....

My 8 lb Yorkie insists on sleeping under the covers .........I dont' know how she can breathe, but she's MUST be comfortable b/c she fights to get there !! She has to find the warmest, coziest possible spot to curl herself in a ball ..........and don't you DARE to move once she's comfy - She lets you know she's p*ssed !!

My pitbull does this, shes 10months old but will only sleep under the covers in bed with me and she likes to nestle in the curves of my body. Shes about 35lbs

They sleep under, over, half hanging off, on pillows, pretty much wherever they're comfortable.
I'm sure if your dog needed more air she would pop her head out.

Yogi sleeps on top of the covers during the night (after we fall asleep.....we find him on our bed usually around 3am). But, after he gets his breafast in the morning he coming back to our bed and goes totally under the covers. He loves to curl up next to my legs. I was also concerned about the oxygen issue, but he seems to be fine.

Misty sleeps under the covers, usually down by our feet - unless it's just me and her, then she'll sleep like a person next to me.
When we go to bed, she comes to my side of the bed, sits there and waits for me to lift the blankets and tell her she can come in. If we don't give her the okay, she stares me down....

Murray sleeps under the covers down by our legs. I was also very concerned he would suffocate, but he's still alive.

So funny Tiny growls at Danielle if she moves during the night and wakes him up.

Sometimes I wake up and open my eyes to see Tiny's head resting on my pillow and his body completely under the covers. It is pretty amusing if you ask me.

our dog does the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its fine trust me!! a lot of dogs love body heat..which is why they will curl up next to you...My chihuahua..curls up next to you and loves being under the covers...she loves being cuddled!

My stepsister's dog does that. One night, we were dog sitting and I didn't sleep at all that night. She growled when I'd go to move her out of fear of her suffocating. But apparently, that's how she likes to sleep.

Sandy sleeps under the covers but up by our faces, they can breathe under there, don't worry
