If your insurance covered your breast pump..
Did you just call your main #?
Also, did anyone have HIP? I just trying to see if it's worth calling.

I don't have HIP, but I just called the member services #. It only takes a minute to call and mine was 100 pct covered so it was definately worth the call.

You may want to first check with your HR person at work. Sometimes, the employer gets to write the plans, so they get to choose all these riders, such as what they want to add as coverage or not. Usually, breast pumps are not covered. If you have an FSA account, you may be able to expense it through that. Also, many insurance companies offer discounts through their wellness plans on breast pumps. Hope this helps!

I have Hip and emailed them.....they just gave me the name of the company to get it from. If I were you i would call or email them directly & ask if its covered...I can get you the company info if you want....

I have HIP Healthcare Partners. I called the main member services # and found out that I have a $100 deductible for durable medical products. They gave me the number of a medical supply place to contact and then I would just pay $100 for whatever pump I wanted.
