If your kids were in a wedding party...and you weren't...
did they ride in the limo?
DS is 2.
Just curious what you guys did.
If they went in the limo...did you install the carseat, or did you let the limo company?

Re: If your kids were in a wedding party...and you weren't...
my DS is 3 and is in my brothers & future SIL's wedding. They haven't mentioned it so I'm assuming he isn't going in the limo.
my sister had her flowergirl's mom in the limo with her.
I didn't have my FG or RB in the limo (they were 2).

DD is a flower girl in BIL's upcoming wedding. DH is best man.
I am driving DD to the church and bringing her home after - she is not going to the reception, though.
I had a 3yo as my flower girl, she did not ride in the limo with us either.

DS was in his godmother's wedding. He was 3 at the time. He did not ride in the limo.
My niece was in my wedding, she was 1, and we installed the car seat in the limo (my sister was my MOH)

My oldest was a fg. My dh was the best man but dd did not ride in the limo. I took her to the church, less then 5 minutes away. And I followed the limo for pictures afterward. My dh rode with the bridal party. She didn't go to the reception. She was 4, if that makes a difference.

DD was a flowergirl and was 5. She did ride in the limo from the bride's house to the church (like a 30 second ride, lol). But she was not invited to the reception so that was it. We took her home.

Re: If your kids were in a wedding party...and you weren't...
I had two kids under 3 and it was just easier to drive them in our car. I wasn't comfortable either if I wasn't able to go in the limo as well (little over protective here I know). I just didn't want others to feel like they had to watch them. If I did allow them to go in I would have had to install our own carseats. The thought of doing this twice in a busy day was nuts. Much easier bringing them.

Re: If your kids were in a wedding party...and you weren't...
I had two flower girls at my wedding who were 2 1/2. The one whose parents were in the briday party rode in the limo. The one whose parents were not in the bridal party rode with her parents. I gave her parents the option and they prefered their car with a car seat.
