If your school is open tomorrow, will you drive your child?

I am a little worried about the buses going through some of these streets which, as of tonight, are HORRIBLE - large chunks of snow and ice and no salt/sand at all. I know a bus is probably safer than a car but he is the first picked up and on the bus 40 minutes in and out of neighborhoods and I feel like if I drive him it will be shorter and direct.

I would drive. A bus is not safer than a car IMO. In a car you can ensure they are buckled.

Prior to the storm I remember them saying buses may be more likely to skid because of something to do with weight distribution...I could be wrong.

A bus floored it down my street today...I couldn't believe how fast it was going considering only half our street was plowed!

I would think driving is much safer!

I would definitely drive DD.

Years ago, my cousin was waiting for the bus. The bus skidded on ice and he ended up pinned between my aunts minivan and the bus. Broke his leg. We wonder if the roller skates in his backpack kept him from being completely crushed.
