If your water broke with 1st pregnancy, did it break with second?
My water broke with DD one week before due date. Just wondering if this makes me more likely to have my water break again?

My water was broken by the doc with my first and I found out with my 2nd that it doesn't break on it's own until baby is ready to come out!!

I misread the question, so I'll answer since I'm in a post anyway.
Water didn't break with first DD. They broke it at hospital during induction.
Water apparently broke at home with DD#2 though I didn't think it did. I labored at home and made about 20 trips to the bathroom before heading to the hospital...then they asked me when my water had broken. Had no idea that it had broken at home.

Nope. Water broke at 38 weeks 3 days with DS. I was induced at 40 weeks 1 day with DD.

No. Water broke on it's own about 5 hrs b/f I had my first - I was 4 days early. With my second, I never went into labor on my own and was induced. My water DID break on it's own but. only after pitocin so, I guess that's not really on it's own.

Nope. My water broke with my first 2 weeks before my due date. With my 2nd, it broke while I was in labor 3 days after my due date!

My water broke with #1 at 37 weeks. There was a lunar eclipse that night so I think that had something to do with it. With my DD water didn't break. Started having contractions at 39 weeks.

Yes, it broke on its own both times.
First time at 38.5 weeks, second time at 37 weeks.

DS#1 water didn't break...contractions first
DS#2 water broke 3.5wks early
