If you've had a b-day party at home (or not) with entertainment...can you help?
I'm planning for my DD's 4th b-day party in September. I was hoping to have a magician/face-painter-type person to entertain. I wanted to keep the party short since I'm having family come that evening, so maybe 12-2 or something like that. As for food, we'll be doing pizza and cake.
So...my question: when should I have the entertainment arrive and what is the order of events typically?
Please help!!

Feed the kids as soon as they get there. Have the entertainment come at 1 and then do cake/ice cream immediately after. YOu'll probably run to about 230ish though.
We had Twinkle Town and it was about an hour. But the last 15 mins she had changed in to Elmo. For the first 45 minutes, she sang songs w/ them, did a limbo, did some balloon animals and face painting. I had about 12 kids.
